The Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto hosted the first European round of the 2026 World Championship season. After visits to Thailand, Brazil, and the United States, the legendary Andalusian track welcomed the Spanish Grand Prix.
The weekend ended with more points for Hakim Danish. In his rookie Moto3 season, the MT Helmets rider has already scored in three of the four rounds held so far.
Weather conditions were changeable from Friday, but Danish remained consistent even when rain appeared on Saturday, qualifying on the fourth row of the grid for the race.
In the race, with no rain and under the bright spring sun of Jerez, Danish fought within a large group of riders battling for seventh place.
Just like three weeks earlier in Austin, he crossed the finish line in 13th position. On the other side of the garage, Ryusei Yamanaka was unable to score points, finishing in 17th place.
After the Spanish Grand Prix, the European tour continues in Le Mans for the French Grand Prix, taking place from May 8 to 10.
